Kick off the holiday season with joy and cheer at our community open house celebration! It’s a day filled with fun, creativity, and delicious treats.
We recognize that the holidays can be a challenging time for many, and it’s perfectly okay to not feel extra cheerful this time of year. By opening our doors for the holidays, we hope to lift spirits and create new memories together.
What to Expect:
- Make and Take Remembrance Ornaments: Create your own unique holiday ornament to honor or remember a loved one, or perhaps someone you want to support this holiday season! *Planned in partnership with Conner Johnson from Spectrum High School
- Story time Corner: Enjoy delightful holiday stories, perfect for the little ones, from books donated by Well Read Books.
- Photo Booth: Capture the magic of the season with fun props and backdrops.
- Thumbs Up Smile Store: Take advantage of the chance to find perfect last-minute Christmas gifts at the Thumbs Up Smile Store! Plus, be sure to grab one of our limited edition coffee cups, available while supplies last!
- Enjoy FREE Coffee donated by Dunn Bros – Elk River as well as Sweet Treats donated by Diamond City Bread & Blue Egg Bakery while mingling with friends and neighbors!
- Indulge in warm handcrafted coffee drinks & hot cocoa made by our wonderful volunteer baristas.
- Special Presentation at 10:45 AM: Mental health therapist, Breanna Heintzelman, from Bridging Hope Counseling will discuss how to navigate mental health during the holiday season.
