Thumbs Up – Elk River
Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM

This is a free weekly drop-in group for emerging adults (ages 16-19 years old) aimed at facilitating connections between peers as well as supportive leaders.
At Adultish, we grow through the connections we make with others through art, games, laughter, and positive support. We believe that social connections are a foundational part of mental well-being. We value and welcome all people; we cannot wait to meet you!

Meet the Group Leader!
Eileen Toombs
Eileen has been involved with Thumbs Up since 2022. She is retired from working as a paraprofessional for over 30 years with mostly high school students. Eileen is the proud mom of two adult daughters. She enjoys deep, meaningful conversations and hanging out with interesting people.
“I really like this group because I can interact with people like me. I’m homeschooled and I’m pretty anti-social but I need friends and I need people to talk to and this group really gives me a place where I CAN talk to people without being overwhelmed or scared. I love that there’s always something to do and always someone to help out and if it wasn’t there the only place I’d see other people outside of my family would be the grocery store, and trust me when I say this group is so so so much better than a grocery store.”
